During the G20 summit held in Osaka between 28-29 June 2019, our lab member, Khalid who is Ph.D. 3rd year student from Saudi Arabia had the honor to be the translator to HRH the Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud during his visit to Hiroshima city. Khalid have also had the chance to translate to a number of high officials between Japan and Saudi Arabia during the sideline meetings held prior to the G20 summit, including the governor of Tokyo Mrs. Yuriko Koike, ministers, and members of the Japanese House of Representatives. In our lab you are blessed with such diversified environment.
DMR Special Talk on 23rd November, 2018
Our lab member, Yutaro who is Master course 1st year student had the honor to be invited as guest speaker for DMR special talk held in 23rd November, 2018. Yutaro introduced his research about ground source heat pump in Thailand to the governor including the director general of department of mineral resources. In our lab, you will get a chance to challenge such a international and prestigious environment.
IAEE is one of the prestigious conference in the world which selects a limited student papers as a paper award after peer-review process. Reza Nadimi’s paper was the only paper from Asia, selected as a paper award along with one paper from U.S., and two papers from Germany (as you can see in the photo). As a result, He had an opportunity to attend in the conference with covering some part of my cost along with receiving a financial gift.
September 2nd year of Reiwa, following the cancellation of the opening ceremony in April 2020 due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, this opening ceremony was held for all students enrolled in April and September. In addition, it was unavoidable to reduce the scale of the event in light of the recent infection situation. The state of the ceremony was broadcast live on YouTube's official channel.
The entrance ceremony was attended by 33 people, including the president, directors / vice presidents, auditors, guests, and representatives of each school who enrolled in April and September. Including Amin Nazarahari, the member of our laboratory selected as the representative of 2020 Fall Semester.
In the excellent research environment of Tokyo Institute of Technology, Amin-san not only obtains a degree, but also finds his own ability to contribute to society by improving his knowledge in a top-class environment and realize his dream. "We will do our best to protect our planet, our generation and future generations," he said.
